Cake toppers come in every theme imaginable, and you can buy them just about anywhere. You just use icing to secure them to the place on the cake that you want. So, be creative. You could use plastic filled eggs as a cake topper for a birthday near Easter, or spider rings for one near Halloween.
Don’t forget to use icing. Icing is a great way to add some life to your cake top. Find some food coloring, and dye your icing several colors to make a visual focal point.
