No birthday party would be complete without some party games. However, it can be difficult to know what games to play. The tried and true games like pin the tail on the donkey, or duck, duck, goose, are fun, but not always right for birthday parties for little girls. The following are some fun birthday party games, specifically for girls!
Game one: Nail polish roulette.
This is a great game for any age of girls. For this party, you need a set of nail polish, in several different colors. You then, have all of the girls sit in a circle, and each girl takes a turn spinning a bottle. Whoever it lands on has to paint one of their nails that color. You play until everyone has their nails painted. It is fun! It offers you a game that lasts for a while, and that the girls will get into.
Game two: Make up blind folded.
This game is especially great for older girls, in the pre-teen or early teen years. For this game, each team is going to be given a makeup set. It should include a tube of lipstick, a case with blush, some eye shadow, and maybe some pressed powder, eye liner, etc. Each team must line up. Then, you give the girl at the start of the line the makeup kit and a blind fold. Wearing the blind fold, she must do a makeover on the girl behind her. When she is done, she must take the blindfold off, and pass it to that girl, who then does the makeup of the girl behind her, and so on until everyone on the team has had their makeup done. The girl at the end of the line does the makeup of the girl who started. It is a race. All of the girls will get a kick out of seeing how their make up looks when the race is over!
Game three: Hula hoop
For this game you just need a hula hoop for each player, and a music player. You will play the music, and the girls have to hula hoop to the rhythm, whoever keeps the hula hoop going the longest wins. Sounds simple? If all of the girls are really good at hula hooping, add a twist by making them race to a destination, if the hula hoop falls, they have to go back to the beginning, and start again.
Game four: Pin the crown on the princess.
This is a customized version of the tried and true game. You can take any party theme and make it a “pin the” game, and they are always really fun. Just remember to blindfold the players well, and spin them. Also, don’t forget to mark the playing pieces so that at the end of the game you can identify who won.
